The followings are the compositions (mixture/content) of metals used for the production of singing bowls as well as gongs, bells and cymbals. According to the metal alloys(mixture), the purity and quality of resonance, sound, pitch and vibration will feel different from each metal compositions (contents) products.
 

Metal Compositions/ Contents (Mixture of Metals)

Two 2 Metal -: Copper (Cu), Tin (Sn) - Bronze Metal

Three 3 Metal -: Copper (Cu), Tin (Sn) & Zinc (Zn)

Four 4 Metal -: Copper (Cu), Tin (Sn) , Zinc (Zn) & Lead(Pb)

Five 5 Metal -: Copper (Cu), Tin (Sn), Zinc (Zn), Iron (Fe) & Lead (Pb)

Seven 7 Metal -: Copper (Cu), Tin (Sn), Zinc (Zn), Iron (Fe), Lead (Pb), Silver (Ag) & Gold (Au)


Note : Mercury(Hg) is also used as metal element/content for production process earlier but we came to know (our client also informed) this mercury is health hazards. Since, these products (singing bowls, bells, gongs, tingshaws etc.) are used for health related activities and treatment , we do not add/use mercury as metal contents/mixtures ,we use Zinc (Zn) instead of Mercury for seven metal singing bowls, bells, gongs, tingshaws.
